Hello.
Thank you for visiting my website. I started my law practice after
graduating from the New England School of Law in Boston. I commuted
3-4 nights per week during the school year from my home on Cape
Cod up to “Beantown” for four years. When I started
this endeavor I was only 38 years old… When I graduated, I
was still just 42…
Luckily for me, it was only 82 miles each way….

| From
my background as a life long/working Carpenter and former Realtor
from upstate New York, I knew upon graduation that my practice would
be directed towards helping people with their Real Estate needs. My
dad always said, “you do what you know.” I knew about
housing. I also knew that if people were going to trust me with handling
their largest asset, chances were they would also have the confidence
to allow me to help them plan their estate for the benefit of their
heirs at law. These two legal disciplines, Transactional Real
Estate and Estate Planning/Probate, have
become the foundation of my practice, for the last ten years.
My
law business was originally based in the Town of Dennis on beautiful
Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It has evolved to include the servicing
of clients in both Florida and Massachusetts. In the Fall
of 2003, my family and I relocated our permanent residence to Palm
Beach Gardens, Florida. Upon arrival in Florida, I took a job with
one of the largest title insurance underwriters in the country.
This position provided me with an opportunity to expand my knowledge
of the Real Estate industry on a national scale. I traveled extensively
in this position, but in January of 2007, I left the corporate world,
and went back into private practice.
Going back into
my own business has been an exciting, challenging, and rewarding
experience, to say the least. I help people realize their dream
of home ownership. I also get to help them plan for the day when
they will run out of days…
Lastly,
because of the way I have managed my office, I have employed the
technology that allows me to be a true working “snow-bird”
attorney. I can service my transactional Real Estate clients
from Florida or Massachusetts, regardless of where I happen
to be sitting. And because I still enjoy the splendor of Cape Cod,
don’t be surprised if I am at my desk in New England when
you need to refinance your Florida Condo, even
if you are in Cleveland. As they say down under, “No Worries,
Mate”… I’ve got you covered!
Please
don’t hesitate to call on me with any questions or special
requests you may have. I’ll be glad to help.
Sincerely,
William
F. Talham Jr.
